Gursoy is located in Ordu and was founded in 1933 by grandfather of the present owners Dursun Oguz & Nejdet Gürsoy.

- Private laboratory license granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to carry out aflatoxin tests in 2002.
- Newer microbiology and toxicology sections in the laboratory redesigned in 2003.
- Company certified ISO9001:2000 in 2003.
- Second cracking plant began operating in the industrial zone of Ordu in 2003.
- Company certified BRC certification in 2004.
- Company certified IFS certificate in 2006.
- Additional warehouse 1500 m2 constructed in 2006.
- A new laser sorting line installed in 2006.
- Laboratory officially accredited by TURKAK as per TS E/IEC 17025:2005 standards for performing aflatoxin tests on hazelnuts in 2006.
- Additional warehouse 3500 m2 constructed in 2008.
