In 18 January 2009, Sunday,  Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors Nejdet Gürsoy was re-elected as the chairman of the Ordu Commodity Exchange as a result of the parliamentary elections in Ordu Exchange service building.

Because of the fact that our country, as the biggest hazelnut porducer and exporter of the world, can't solve its ongoing structural problems, it is not able to use the advantages of its strategical location in the world market. However, because of the product support model and political prices, today there is a great problem of supply, and many countries have been created as new competitors in hazelnut.

Ordu Commodity Exchange President (OTB) Nejdet Gürsoy, stated that the effects of global crisis are visible because of its impact on financial sectors, business and trades, and he added: "But this crisis is obviously a hazelnut crisis."

In TIM, the new president and executive board is now certain. Büyükekþi, who served 6 years in Turkey Shoe Manufacturers' Association Presidency, also carries out many tasks such as Treasurer Executive Board Member of ISO, Eximbank Board Membership, and THY Executive Board Membership. Büyükekþi has worked as the General Coordinator of Ziylan Companies Group.
