This year, for the first time our company
has exhibited its products to Ordu consumers at The Black Sea Trade Fair which has been
running for over 12 years. Our stand which gathered much appreciation was
favoured by visitors and with the introduction of our new products including
hot hazelnut cream, consumers approved it as first
class.
Spain's Katalanya Region hazelnut producer and the delegation of
Katalanya Hazelnut Research Institute (irta) visited the production
fields in Fatsa and Gürsoy Inc. integrated manufacturing facilities, as
the invited guests of Ordu Faculty of Agriculture and Ordu Chamber of
Agriculture.
Turkey's hazelnut production is increasing rapidly but exports have failed
to keep up with this rise, creating an imbalance that has resulted in excess
supply, according to a survey by the Hazelnut Promotion Group.
Hazelnut Promotion Group co-chairman Dursun Oguz Gursoy said that they,
as the Hazelnut Promotion Group, are continuing with the intense
promotional afforts around the world, and teh promotional efforts and
research and development activities in the Russian Federation are in
